Restoration of a Defender 90 TDI
The following pictures show the journey of a complete restoration of a Defender 90 TDI Land Rover
1 We stripped the Land Rover down to complete bare chassis.
2 New Land Rover bulkhead & front shocker turrets now fitted having been shot blasted & galvanised to guarantee a new long lease of life.
3 New galvanised chassis – fitted & painted. All suspension poly-bushed. New rear springs, shock absorbers and bump stops.
4 New brake pipes & hoses now fitted to the rebuild.
5 The rebuild now taking shape.
6 New radiator, power steering pipes, all new engine water hoses in place.
7 Note that the internal surfaces of the wings and front panel have been primed & sprayed too.
8 Body completely stripped, primed & painted.
9 New bumper, light units fitted all around, with complete new wiring loom.
10 New replacement doors installed. (Originals had rotted out, due to age)
11 Land Rover now finally ready for respray….
